Meet the Landlord
Steve Bond
Having been born and grown up in North Wales, I studied in Bangor before going on to further studies in Leeds to enable me to pursue a career in architecture. On completion of my studies, I returned to the area, working for an established Chartered Architect’s practice that I eventually took over. Isnant was at one time our offices, before we moved up to new offices on Parc Menai. This relocation enabled me to convert Isnant into a high quality 7-bed student house. This being achieved by way of a major refurbishment and remodelling scheme. I purposely opted to retain the name as “Isnant”.
It is the only student-lettable property I own and as a landlord I strive to ensure my tenants have a great, comfortable and hassle-free stay at the house. Owning just the one property allows me to deal with tenants on a personal level and to respond immediately to any issues that may arise. Thus, minimizing disruption for you as tenants and avoiding problems or delays due to inefficient agents, or absent landlords. I provide a high-quality property that offers a great environment for study, but also for relaxing with friends/housemates in the large communal living spaces. Student safety is paramount with smoke detectors in every room, emergency lighting, and easy escape from bedrooms and final exit doors.
It has been a pleasure over the years to host both UK and international students from all over the world. In 2025, I was a finalist in the University Wales, Bangor - Landlord of the Year Awards. In 2020, the property was shortlisted in the “Best Value for money” category.
